About Us

The Casarão restaurant is a friendly family business located on the picturesque Portuguese town of Tavira – Algarve (Portugal). It specialises on cooking of fresh fish and meat over hot charcoal and the regional country side cooking style (Algarve peaks and valleys).

Francisco Gonçalves (known as “Senhor Xico”) and family open doors for business on the 28^th July 1978. Since then they haven’t stop working on providing customers with the best vegetables, fish, meat and sea food locally available.
